3rd Grade Solar System Project
Fair Haven Pre K - 8 School's 3rd Grade Bilingual class is engaged in a research project on the solar system. Students are researching the 8 planets, sun, asteroid belt and dwarf planets both in their classroom and in the library media center. Students will be actively engaged in achieving Common Core expectations for 3rd graders in writing and reading of informational text using both print and electronic sources. Students are working in pairs and writing in both Spanish and English informative texts on their assigned solar system topic. Students will create a mural for the hallway upon completion of their research.
