Follow the steps below to get to the databases and then you will need to enter our institution library card number which you can get from Mrs. Virtue, Mrs. Dozier or Mrs. Canalori.

  1. Go to NHFPL.org
  2. Mouse over "Collections" in the menu bar and then click on "Electronic Resources" in the drop down menu
  3. Click on "Kids and Teens"
  4. Click on "Kids Resources"
  5. Click on "Library Databases"
  6. Select one of the databases below (or any of the others). Be sure to click on "Click here to access from home.
Kids InfoBits is an excellent database.This site uses graphics to help students navigate through the research process.This database covers geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, sports and more.
Bookflix is a new online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks with related nonfiction eBooks.The engaging way to link fact and fiction, BookFlix reinforces early reading skills and introduces children to a world of knowledge and exploration.
True Flix is an online resource that brings books to life! It features electronic books from Scholastic's True Books series on Science and Social Studies topics.
CultureGrams Kids Edition features a colorful collection of 106 country reports perfect for school projects and homework assignments; States Edition offers kid-friendly reports on all 50 states. Switch between editions with a simple click.
