Significant means IMPORTANT. Significant events in a person's life are the BIG, IMPORTANT events - sad times, happy times, accomplishments. Here are some examples of life events that are significant and some that are not significant.

  • Eating pancakes before breakfast
  • Getting a haircut
  • Playing outside
  • Doing your homework
  • Going to bed every night
  • Going grocery shopping
  • Reading a book
  • Playing video games
  • Making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
